Nature Proceedings

By accident I found a webite under Nature magazine which I feel some readers here might be interested.

Nature Proceedings
Nature Precedings is a place for researchers to share pre-publication research, unpublished manuscripts, presentations, posters, white papers, technical papers, supplementary findings, and other scientific documents. Submissions are screened by our professional curation team for relevance and quality, but are not subjected to peer review. We welcome high-quality contributions from biology, medicine (except clinical trials), chemistry and the earth sciences.

There are poster- and presentation-format files which I feel very useful to quickly have a general understanding of specific topics. Just use the search function to find topics you are interested.

Of course you can also put your own stuff/ideas on it and get responses from others, such as this topic "Open Notebook Science Using Blogs and Wikis".

Although there are not many articles/files right now, let's see what will happen after several months?

Good to know.

By the way, have you watched the show of AFI award to Al last night?

What a salute!

What is really striking, but not totally surprising is how Al rehearsed in Godfather III. Andy Garcia said even though Al didn't have any line in that scene, he rehearsed his gesture for 17 times!

All other actors or actresses mentioned the same or similar thing about him. He is not only talented but really hard-working.

What a example for the good saying "Success rewards for those well-prepared"

Unfortunately, no.

We were watching Jim Carey's "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events" using our brave-new DVD player last night.

It's a good movie. I like its style a lot, like pictures in baby books; reminds me of Tim Burton. FanFan like to watch it too.
