Abnova Part V

Okay, okay, I know I said there won't be another post about Abnova...

This morning I got an E-mail from the Abnova customer service for antibody information. It's fine, so far.

Then I read the last paragraph of the E-mail -

"By the way, do you see baseball games? Another Taiwan glory “王建民” will be the first starter of the world series on Oct 4. Hope he can win again. ^__^ "

Did she assume I must be a fan of Wang, aka "the Taiwan Glory", too? Ha-ha, it is very risky saying something like that to a person who lives in the capital of Red Sox Nation.

Besides, Wang is named to be the starting pitcher in ALDS game 1 (American League Division Series, at Cleveland), not World Series.

Fifty points from Abnova!!!

What she has written to you shows that she is not a fan of your blog....That's for sure....

Yeah, you are absolutely right.

Someonw in Taipei using Abnova as keyword has visited here for more than 6 times in two weeks. I guess that is someone in Abnova but not the one who wrote me.

Acturally I got another email this morning from her.

"Of course you could support Red Sox, but you also have to support Wang. He comes from Taiwan too 耶....Ha"

"HAVE TO"?

See? That is a typical reaction how people in Taiwan thinking it.

WHY I have to support Wang? Just because he comes from Taiwan too? He is playing for New York, not for Taiwan, isn't he?

The biggest problem of Taiwan nowadays is everything is related to patriotism. That is sad and stupid.

Well, even your viewpoints may be right in several aspects in Taiwan. I would say that at least some, or possibly lots of, other people in Taiwan may not hold the same expectations. Their voice is also sadly and inevitably suppressed by our media and the consequential positive-feedback.

Hey! Staining is so good.

Now I don't understand why I have criticized it in my labnote before. This antibody even has a higher tolerance to aldehyde fixation and, of course, lower to none nuclear staining compared with the same-fixed but Mklp1-stained cells.

If you, the Abnova's specialist, are reading this comment, plz try to contact with me. Our lab shall order a bulk of this antibody. How much volume do your company still have?

Anyway, I will try to get you!!

Ting,

How can anyone contact you since you leave no contact information in comments???

Besides, what you do mean "a higher tolerance to aldehyde fixation"? I thought it depends on the antigen more than antibody.
